What is Life Coaching?

One-to-one coaching is not therapy, mentoring or counseling. Coaching is forward looking and involves setting goals with a trained coach, who helps you determine your objective, course of actions or changes, challenges and goals to achieve your specific objective. The coach listens, asks powerful questions, clarifies issues and helps you set goals and manage the challenges to your own achievement. The coach encourages you, prays for you and is the person to whom you are accountable in reporting your progress, challenges and successes. You are responsible for your achievement, and the coach is alongside helping you get there.
